You are correct to say that the custard house was use for boxing two names that i know are Franky Britton and Sid Sale frank used to work at Hardins and Windush bakeries

I all so went there. I lived in summer road Harold Place opposite Saint Luke's infant school 1957/58 my mates were Brian Lawler and Christina Pitt she lived in Bishop Gate Street
I worked at the bakery in 1960 I do have some old photos of the draw plate ovens as well as other parts of the bakery one of my jobs was to clean the burners at the rear of the ovens on a Saturday morning
