Thank you for such a lovely message, it's always fascinating finding out about people, isn't it? Very interested in those boxes of records and photos from your Wright's days. If your son could arrange for them to be scanned, (I'm happy to help with this), that would be excellent. Thanks, Phil

Thank you to everyone for your help. My Nan is not one of the ladies pictured, but it would be pretty safe to say that they were likely some of her colleagues, so still very much a useful picture. Any more like that? Thanks again, Phil

Thank you. I have this information from the electoral registers, that's them! I am more looking for pictures of Heybarnes Road during this period, or as close as possible to it, also Miles Street.

Hi, My Nan worked at Wrights Ropes factory in the 40s and I'm eager to know if there are any photos taken of the workers, building etc around this time. Would any employment records exist also? Her name was Eileen Martha O'Connor. I'm really looking for anything on Eileen Martha O'Connor...

Thank you. Was looking for more a picture(s) of the houses along Miles Street, just as an example of what it looked like when my Nan lived there in the mid 20s.

Hi there, Does anyone have any photos of Miles Street, Small Heath from the early 1920s or thereabouts? Need this to complete family history photo book. Thanks, Phil

Thanks, do you have this in higher resolution?

Hi again, Does anyone have a better quality picture of the Heybarnes Road image? Thanks Phil

Hi Cath, Thanks for your message. My paternal grandmother was a Glew (Nellie Glew) but she came from Batley in Yorkshire. Maternally, my grandmother is an O'Connor and she was the one from Birmingham. We may cross somewhere else down the line. My father was Stephen Frank Glew, and his father...

That's brilliant. Thank you! Do you know when the one of Heybarnes Road is from?

Anyone have any of Heybarnes Road?

Hello - do you still have these images please? I'd love to see the 'then' ones! :)

Hello there, Does anyone have any old pictures (from 1920s to 1940s) of Heybarnes Road? I am trying to find some for my grandmother who lived there in the 30s and 40s. Many thanks, Phil
