I live close to where the Vuelta comes through, lots of the same riders and been to watch several times. Great atmosphere but very little to actually see.
I live in spain and a few mornings every week I go to a local cafe for coffee. I sit near to Spanish builders that usually have pints of Spanish beer and large brandies then go back to work. Twice a day, 11 ish and 1 afternoon.
I should be travelling past this building on Thursday, long weekend in UK, first in nearly 12 months. Hope you can get some decent weather arranged, very nice Spring here.
It comes out in Spanish;

Surely something needs to happen to save the old airport terminal building. When I go over to the UK I usually get the bus from the existing arrivals to Solihull and the road goes over towards the old terminal. Always brings back memories.
Slightly off subject but I see this topic was started by Terry Carter. I have always respected his knowledge of World War I especially the Somme. However I havent seen a post from him for some time. Has anything happened?
Looking at the picture from jmadone number 29 shows a Coronation Mug. I actually have one the same upstairs. Brought it to Spain, not sure why. Probably the only one on Costa Blanca.
