    Hi I also went to Dixon rd from about 1951 1958 then moved on to Golden Hillock secondary modern boys (we had moved to the other side of the new bridge by then) we also lived in Bordesley park rd second or third entry up from Carrington rd facing mr pretty,s grocers shop Rod Aston

    Horse and Jockey - Bordesley Park Road

    That picture of Bordesley park rd brings back a few memoriesI lived their in the 1950s our entry was facing the shop next to the Retreat owned by Mr Pretty at the time and the shop below was Mrs Bignells newsagent the pub on the right at the top was the Prince Arthur
