The Attached picture is of Bill Nicholson with Joan Henley who completed a 12.000 mile tour of the USA on a BSA 500cc B33.

You have your facts right, The building was not restored until my time c1953.

I worked in the inspection dept at Small Heath grading the barrels and pistons of the Dandy.

My grandfather took a picture of a German airship over the Lucas factory at Hall Green before WW2, I posted the picture on this site but it seems the been deleted.
