    You're on the right track Paul, not sure where the Ariel Pixie was assembled, but it definitely shared its engine with the BSA Beagle apart from being 50cc capacity instead of 75cc for the Beagle. Here is a Pixie brochure:

    Thank you for the replies, I just happen to have some photos of a restored pixie for those who haven't seen one before: Were the Beagle and Pixie built on the same line st Small Heath? Very few Pixies were sent to the States, so I have never owned one or seen one in person.
