    Can anyone give me any info on Charles Jackson, from Balsall Heath. The only info I have is, he owned a hardware shop, 141 Balsall Heath rd. I only know that he was there in 1946. Don't know if it was a lock up, or if he lived there. Thanks in anticipation :friendly_wink:

    Colin, thank you so much for posting photos of Nechells & Saltley. I went to St Clements School and, also worked at Newtons. In post 72, the plot of land in left hand corner, is where the house was that I was born in. I lived there until the age of 16. So they are very special to me...
