    This is a photo of my Great Grandfather Edward Kilkenny's militia attestation with the Royal Warwickshire Regiment from 10th March 1893. There's a few addresses on there that might be of interest to some of you: 3 Little Shadwell Street 5 Court, Price Street Mr Baron? of Summer Lane Edward...

    Hi all, my Great Grandfather moved to Birmingham from Ireland, around 1890. Going off records, for a while he lived at 26 Bow Street. This image is from a rate book, dated 1901. The owner of the property was Selina Surman. Not a common name, so just out of interest, I've posted a London Gazette...
