    Hi bluebrummie I know I'm 2 years late but only v recently found this site. My family name is Percival, dad's name William (Bill) mum's maiden name Cox. Their is a Thomas and a Florence on my mum's side but they would have the name Cox. Any help?

    I recall being told, when growing up in Selly Oak, that the heavy water used in the development of the hydrogen bomb (undertaken at the university) was made at the Selly Oak pumping station. Is this corect? I remember the anti-aircraft gun mounting on the roof and being told that was the reason...

    CCleaner

    Hi Patty I treat all registry cleaners with extreme prejudice. I use Autocad on a daily basis and because of the way Autodesk builds the regisry entries reg cleaners wipe them and cause me much grief. Personally I'd never touch them again.

    Gaskell and Chambers

    During the late 60's I served my joinery apprenticeship at A Edmonds on Constitution Hill. Being a strict Methodist Mr Edmonds would not take on bar work and passed this on to Gaskell & Chambers, but I believe Edmonds did some of the joinery work.
