    Hi I’m new to this page. I lived at Lyncroft House, Handsworth Wood Road from November 1982 till April 1983. It was a hostel for battered wives with children. A safe place it was for us. Run by Salvation Army, Major Eileen Lowe ran it very well. It was a real homely place and me, my 2 sisters...
