Ah. Ellen Hill was Louise Green's mother. So - The Greens and Hills in 1911 living there are related families, and the Green's are still there in 1921. That works as it turns out I'm following up the Green's. Thanks again!

And just an update on the original question of the hard to read informant on Elizabeth Chiswell death - which looked like Elizabeth Pouton or Parton or Pointon but was no family name I knew related to my Eliz Chiswell. Today - I found that her mothers sister Marsha Ashford (b 1737) first married...

Mark Chiswell was b 1788, father = George. Mother = Elizabeth. I think he died 1844 in Berkshire. Have GRO. Was a member of Staffordshire Kings Own. Was shoemaker in 1841 after discharge and on GRO death. Brother George Chiswell was a shoemaker as well. Mark's wife Sarah GRO death says widow of...

Ah - That is so interesting that George was a soldier! After much work, I think a son of theirs - Mark Chiswell b 1788 who was also a soldier in Staffordshire Kings Own (!) and lived in Berkshire had a son Henry Chiswell who is my 3rd great grandfather. Is the announcement of George's death...

Oh that's interesting. Is there any info about Henry and Sarah Chiswell in Key Hill, in terms of plots, or other Chiswell's which are their kids and grandkids?

Yes It is the Elizabeth Chiswell d 1846 in Key Hill Cemetery that I am trying to figure out. The rest of the Chiswell's in Key Hill are her grandson Henry Chiswell and family. His grandmother was Elizabeth Vale who married George Chiswell and so I thought Elizabeth Chiswell d 1846 might be her...

I apologize for the 2 threads - they seemed separate questions! Anyway - 4 houses between Winkles and Parton/Panton - is that in 1841 or 1851 census? Again - on Ancestry searching manually thru neighbors of William Wrinkles in 1841 and 1851 - I can't see anyone who looks like a Panton or Parton?

Oh but wait. Cause of death is Paralysis - many years???

    Great Hampton & Upper Hospital

That is so interesting and helpful! And yes - William and family are living at 56 Upper Hospital Street in 1851 - Retail brewer. Then - in 1841 they are also on Upper Hospital St but address not listed in that census. But - no Elizabeth Chiswell living there in 1841. Did she - die while in the...

So - Ancestry doesn't provide search by street name. Is there another name I can search for living on Upper Hospital Street in 1841 to see if I can manually look for Parton? Thank you!
