    Craven Arms Upper Gough Street Blucher Street

    Lived two doors up, you can see the door, at number 5 Upper Gough Street until moved to Aldridge when houses were demolished.

    Bristol Street School

    I was there until about 1956 when I moved to St Thomas and remember very little except it seems to have been a happy experience. Mixed classes and for some reason remember writing clearly was important. Milk in small bottles.

    St Thomas C Of E School Granville Street

    Moved from Bristol Street school to here around 1956 and left 1959. Looks as though I might have lived nearest school in Upper Gough Street. I remember Lew Chatterley, who went on to play for the Villa, lived closer in Gough Street.
