Well this looks like it might be it - Handel Street near Sneinton Market - the bags might be shopping from the market. This row has been redeveloped somewhat but very similar features? What do people think?
I’m trying to find out where I took this picture of W J Pearson and Sons Limited. Taken in the 70s. Probably a street running West to East judging by the light and shadows. Also a one way street but with a large lamppost.
Lovely pictures. I have discovered my great grandparents lived at 8 Back of 85 Arthur Street in 1881 - wonder if anyone has images of that part of the street back then?
