I went to Tile Cross school1950s.I do have photo of school football team 1960 finalists with Mr Atkins,unsure how to submit ,will post later.New member and learning!
I lived at bottom of this road (101) by round about for bus 14.circ 1950s went to Tile Cross inf.jun. School./SirWilf.Mart.Yes,no proper pavements until much later,outskirts of the area all fields and woods,sadly all houses now

Hello Diane,checked my William Allen but have different date of birth one 1797 another 1817 & 1848 brass caster sounds typical of area.Any other links? Thanks for help.
My father was Robert Albert Allen born 23/12/1922 Grandfather Albert Allen born 31/05 /1895,Grt Gf Robert Parkin Allen 12/04/1853 GGrt William Allen circ1817.......James Allen 1783...James Allen 1783 Large tree so must be someone out there.....Kind regards Rod Allen
