    Birmingham Schools Football History / & photos

    My primary school was Rathvilly, in Northfield. One memorable day we had a soccer coaching session from the Birmingham City and England goalkeeper Gil Merrick. Here is a photo of the team, I think the year was 1957. I'm the good looking one in the back row!
