    I've had a good look through the Lozells Road thread and it was really interesting. Even spotted an article with a photo outside the picture house with my great-grandma in it! Unfortunately I couldn't see a picture of the corn and flour shop but I might have missed it.

    My great-grandmother, Emily Maria Terry (nee Hopkins) is in this photograph that was taken in 1927. We've got an original. She worked at the Lozells picture house so this is staff outing either before or after then went out.

    Does anyone have any information about a Corn & Seed Shop in Hartington Road, Lozells, during 1939, please? I'm just researching my family history and my great -uncle, Jim Barker, is shown as the proprietor of a corn and seed shop. They lived in 81 Hartington Road, Lozells so I'm assuming...
