    In more recent times, the 'Centre Bus' moniker passed onto the 101 route, which I think was originally just a circle around the city, using Leyland Nationals. Latterly, the route ran into the city from Handsworth, and connected Snow Hill, New Street and the town hall, using MCW Metrobuses...

    The Travel Card Bus

    The Travelcard was also advertised on MCW Metrobuses during (I believe) the late 1980s. There is one in preservation that has been repainted back into the promotional livery.
