    Hi Col, George’s son is called Graham and Charlie has two sons Dickie(Richard) who was the eldest and Tommy who is my Dad and the youngest of three. Charlie also had a daughter - Polly.

    Hi Col, that’s fantastic - thanks so much for sharing! Which one is your Dad? As far as I know Uncle George Packer was in that regiment in WW2 .

I’ve been told by a few people if Charlie Packer and co roped you in on a drinking session, you'd have to be prepared to not go home for a few days due to the lock ins...

    I’ve been sent three of my Grandad (Charlie Packer) and wondered if anyone would recognise the others? I’m not sure if these were taken at the Brunswick or Tindal street?

    Hi All, I stumbled upon this thread whilst looking for some history on places my grandparents and older relatives used to go - Charlie Packer was my Grandad and I know he drank in the Brunswick and Tindall street - not sure how long ago?! I was about to put a message on here to see if anyone...
