    Hi, Nonna….your aunt and uncle the ROSES lived next door to us....my mom Rose Tolley(no 5) was a great friend/neighbour before we moved. Didn"t your uncle keep pigeons? I am sure I used to trap them on our shed roof using string, a stick and cardboard box....then release them or give them back...

    Living top end of Bolton rd, near Golden Hillock rd which was on the No8 Bus route, we did the short trip to sparkhill to attend the Waldorf in walford rd, and the Piccadilly on the stratford rd......took the bottles back for a refund to pay for the entry fee during school hols ha ha...
