    How would I find out about the houses built in Derrydown Road, Clivenden who was the builder and any photos

    We moved in in59/60 Mom and Dad paid £1200 it was a very happy house it was a lovely area as well. I moved from there when I got married in78 to Curbar Road we paid £7200 for it, sold it 2 years later for £12000 and moved away from Brum Thank you Pedrocut

    My local one was in Perry Barr not far from the Library I can remember it smelt funny and the counters were high, I had to stand on the brass foot rail and still couldn't see over the counter. Mind you I was vertically challenged I think I still might have to stand on the foot rail now

    I'm afraid I don't know and Dad and my Uncle are no longer around to ask. The Matchless was my Dads bike and the BSA was my uncles I think the one on Dads bike began with a W I know that Dad had a bike with a Swallow sidecar. Sorry I can't be of much help
