I was working at Donovan Electrical in 1969, assembling large control panels, adding fuses, isolators etc. I remember Mr Donovan well. Great job with some great people!

I remember my mom doing outwork involving carding hairgrips and safety pins around 1953/55 and I did a little bit to help at the age of 7. We lived in Ladywood at the time.
I used to work in the Kingshurst pub when George & Joan ran it, in fact I met my hubby there who played in the band. He wasn't a bad old stick, he gave us the room for free when we had our wedding reception there in 1972
