    Colmore flats Hospital Street (now YMCA)

    So I'm just reading Carl Chinn's book on Birmingham Council Houses, "Homes for People" and he mentions the first private flats built in Hospital St in Birmingham. Have these survived until now as the YMCA flats? TIA

    Does anyone know the name of the school on the attached map as it was in 1912-1914. I know it's called yew Tree school now, just wondering what it was in the time of my Grandfather? Many thanks in advance.

    Vicarage Road, Aston Street Party, 1937 King George VI Coronation

    Vicarage Road, Aston street party 1937 to celebrate the coronation of King George VI. My Mom Elizabeth Baker (lived 4/back 31 Vicarage Road) is 7th left front row, she's the one with the sparrow legs.
