    Sear

    The Sear family of Kings Heath, Kings Norton and Bromsgrove feature in my genealogy. They appear to have been involved in haberdashery in the city centre and butchery in Kings Heath. There is a possible link with the family of the successful jeweller Frederick Banks that I should like to clarify.

    Sear Arthur Albert

    Has anyone come across the above name? He figures in my genealogy though I can uncover little about him. He was living in Birmingham from the 40's and ran a fish & ship shop, possibly in the Digbeth or Sparkhill area. He was born c. 1903, possibly in Olney, and died c. 1969 while living in Kings...
