Bham Hall Marked Police Medal
Have found in my late mother in laws possessions a police medal that was hall marked in Birmingham in 1886 - 7. The manufacturers plate reads DCG. It was awarded to Gravesend (Kent) Police Sergeant Davies. The Weekly dispatch appears to be a Sunday paper. I cannot...
On 11 Sept there will be a free Heritage open day in the Aston Hall and Church Conservation Area. Aston Hall, (12 noon to 4pm) . Aston Tavern (11am to 4pm) and Aston church 12 noon to 5pm) are all open. 4 local history talks in the church
