    William Hawkes Blacksmiths 183/4 High Street Deritend

    Just stumbled across this place. Seems to be still be in operation on Gov companies house. Looked on street view, but it's just a lot of road works. Anyone know if its still there, I'd like to approach them and see if they have any history noted that may mention other blacksmiths.

    This name is connected to the research I'm doing on a Strawbridge Baker in Bolton Road, S Heath. Any maps or info from that time would be great if possible.

    Old handwriting, what does this say?

    Number 63 is crossed out, but what replaces it? It will possibly be the name of a pub or Inn. It is from 1881 and the profession of the addressee is Brewer and Inn Keeper.
