Found another one, a boat trip to I don't know where, the tall man in the middle was my grandad and the little chappie to his right with the trilby was his dad, what did happen there
Jean, Nan was with it, only 4ft11ins but a proper little mover and grandad 6ft. She loved to dance, grandad had two left feet, he prefered his allotment and pigs to the dance floor :D
Jean I don't bother with facebook except to play scrabble with a friend who lives in Trowbridge, do anything to try and keep the old brain cells working. Did you ever get to look at those pics of the birthday party

I love the old pictures, found these, my nan on the right with her friend Rose Leason, saucy or what, and in the boat is my gt grandma (nans mom) on far left, both a day out in Blackpool. What fun they all used to have
Never have liked sprouts, but do eat 3 or 4 just to be good the same with liver a small amount, I cook it occasionally as my hubby Andre loves it. Don't go alot on perculated coffee, it's usually too strong, I am a tea person but do like it fairly strong. So I don't think my taste buds have...
Unfortunately Balrog I don't know where my gt grandad and grandad went fishing, as you say definately no home comforts. Our eldest son sometimes fishes down on the Severn nearwhere we live, can get some good catches but they are usually full of - ugh

Shera You are certainly keeping me busy my minds all over the place, where are you getting all this info from and what are the igi records where you are finding the marriages from. You can't image how appreciative I am :crying: with glee of course
Denise
Shera I think you are right, I have been noting down everything then typing it up and saving it so I can add it all to my tree. I only have a cousin left who is my moms brothers daughter and she, like me never asked questions. She will be thrilled when I send her a copy of all you people...
Shera This all looks very promising, thank you again. I am on Ancestry.co.uk but have found it difficult to link anything up but you guys are certainly doing better than me. I guessed gt grandad to be born around 1875 so it could be him born 1879
I am getting really excited about all this -...
