"Access to closed records" may refer to records that are officially closed due to the 100 year ruling, but under the FOI the "requester" has provided a death certificate of the person they are requesting records for and proof of being next of kin. William.

I have the same problem. The records I am looking for are for female patients covering the period 1907 - 1910 but they are not on Ancestry so I am guessing they were destroyed or missing, hence not being able to digitalise them. William.

If the baby was stillborn there will be no birth record or death record registered. Stillbirth registration wasn't introduced until 1st July 1927. William.
