An aerial view (1951) of The White Swan on the corner of Hanley Street and Cecil Street. Interesting to see the roof of 42-44 Hanley Street being retiled/replaced.

As Mike has said The White Swan disappeared in the 1920s but this aerial view from 1936 seems to show the frontage and other aerial views the footprint of the building. Perhaps the brass founders who in the 30s occupied #184 retained the building after it closed.

Lyn, I found this by reverse image search on Google, I don't know if it's any clearer. I could use AI on it but as you know it is prone to change facial features.

The 1901 census seems to correlate with the plan above: 350 to 358 then 1 to 16 Ct 47 then 359, 360 assuming the enumerator went up the entry between 358 & 359, houses 1 & 2 would be at the back, then 3 to 14 going anti-clockwise, then 15 & 16 at the back of 356 and 357.

Looking at the 1911 census which is as ambiguous as the 1921 census gives: 351, 352, 353, - -, 356, Bk 359, Bk 358, 3h Ct47, 4bk 356, 6h Ct47, 7h Ct47, 8h Ct47, 9h bk356, 12h Ct47, 13h Ct47, 14h Ct57, 15h Ct47 16h Ct 47, 360, 361 This would be my best guess
