Angel Hotel - Stratford Road Sparkbrook
Gordon Green was the gaffer back in the 60s.He went on to have the Chestnuts.He was a great friend of Gerry the gaffer of the Brit.I got to know him quite well 20+ years back as he was a frequent visitor. Britannia Warwick Road
I worked at the Brit in 1988.Very popular pub at the time,while the others around it struggled. The gaffers were Mary and Gerry from Donegall,they would have been there during the changeover to the new pub in 1974.They left about 1993.
