Dog and Partridge - Yardley Wood The building is perfectly preserved now,as a church,and has been I think for at least the last 10 years. Drank in there a few times back in the 80s,not a great atmosphere.Just one of those pubs that lost the plot in its later life,and never recovered because of it.

Well said zak14,but I fear it's now too late due to the number of immigrants over the years.They have no reason to be interested in our culture,so why would they want to preserve it?

Yes Alf that sounds like the murders.I did indeed pass it a few days after the murders,and saw many flowers left,it was very touching. Some pubs are rough,just happens that way,and you can't seem to change it.For example the Fox Hollies or the Speedwell,both now closed and gone.
