I see men in dresses sometimes in the supermarket. Some young some old. I always fancied a sarong like David Beckham but I never had the nerve or a kilt, for comfort,. GP told me to wear a kilt but I war loose clothes. In the 60s fashions went bold with design and colour and simplicity and they...

I went to a disco where mum worked around 1967. They played games like pass the balloon woman to man and pass the key dropping down your clothes, I wasn't trendy I wore my school trousers and a sleeveless pully, I watched the girls dancing in tent dresses, wearing hippie bells and some men had...

I like a cover if it has a different take on it, if you know what I mean. But not rip offs.

Me too, no Microwave, no work on a Sunday, Roast dinner . No decking. No patio heater. Partner still darns and mends. Makes attractive nutritious meals from left overs, not bubble and squeak thankfully though. No video. The outside toilet is still here but is now inside but still like it was...

We know where one is. But the squirrel lives there too in a row of fir trees and pigeons. I was dive bombed by them in my youth they nested in our garage. On top of the lawn mower. So we had to leave the door open.

I have just watched the blackbird drive off the squirrel across three gardens dive bombing and pecking. Not noisy though, has anyone seen this before? Usually they tolerate each other.

I loved the revolution and the music being able to express that and the freedom of speech. The bra burning. The Greenham Common protest all just for examples. Martin Luther King. Ann Hayden winning Wimbledon. New cultures. When listening to colleagues moaning as a 16 year old in my new job...

Our grandchildren are 50/50, they are somewhat happy but because they are spoilt they think they are hard done by and losing a parent they blame the remaining parent. I guess you ask them?

What I mean (in my opinion) is we only got brainwashed for petty things then. They didn't break the bank. And my family tended to not fall for them*. i.e. matching saucepans, colour co ordinated kitchens, colour co ordinated gardens, we never had a colour co ordinated anything. We still don't...

For me I came at the end of the 60s which I loved the 70s and the 80s even early 90s. Loved the music and fashions & haircuts as you say. I felt safe then. People were less brainwashed. I am not looking through rose tinted specs either.

Wish we didn't get pigeons, just had the plum tree trimmed it's gone mad. Pigeons poo everywhere . They are cooing all day. I don't mind that. No sign of any sparrow hawks or kestrels any more. They preyed on them but made a terrible mess. We have had to stop feeding them just a little each...

The borage came back, all the herbs have. A profusion of primroses bluebells and lily of the valley. Lilac is struggling I think it is dieing. The blooms are big but the stems weak and brittle. We have trimmed a lot of the shrubs like the sweet briar which dominates it, so the workers could get...

I read that the invasive foreign ladybirds are the ones that come in other our houses as they don;t like the cold. Don't know how true this is. I was going to pull a weed, although we keep lots of weeds, and there were several ladybirds clustered so it. So I left it.

That's what he calls us! But his other side thinks the same as us and more do. Anyway, he went away for 3 days, 3days ago, so I got on the roof, I struggled to get off, I have to put my knee on the porch roof and pull. last week now it kills me to walk. I managed to sweep it and I cleaned it...
