My taste buds have barely changed... as a child I loved sprouts, all sorts of vegetables and I used to love brains on toast which my mum used to make (with calves brains, I believe). The only thing I can remember not liking was anything that involved melted cheese.. and I'm still the same today...

Yes Jean, most of the pictures I have were in 2 biscuit tins from my dad's house when he died in 2001... luckily lots of the photos had names written on the the back.

First picture is my Great Grandmother Alice Marks (nee Payne) marked on the back as 1917 next is my Grandmother Bertha Viola Thatcher (nee Marks) and lastly my Great Grandfather Thomas Marks in the garden at Hambrook, Bristol. What a fascinating thread! John.

This is where I thought the picture was taken, on Bristol Rd South - almost opposite Bodenham Road... but as remarked previously, the sun is in the wrong place! :o) The photo was taken at 3.30pm and the sun was behind me.

I was only in that episode... I did a one or two things as an extra, but that was the only one that captured my ugly mug! The rest ended up on the cutting room floor! lol
