You're absolutely right Lyn. I've never set foot in what they've replaced it with. M & B have got a problem now, the 'pub' they created was to attract the student population from the nearby UCE. Now that's going to be demolished, their customer base will all but disappear.

I'm pretty certain it's Highgate Park in Balsall Heath. If you look carefully at the segment filmed in the park you can see the one of the green copper turrets of The Rowton Hotel on Alcester Street to the right of the screen.

Not unexpected but it is a great shame. I was lucky enough to spend some nice hot summer's there, sitting on the balcony enjoying a nice view of Summerhill Library with it's terracotta bricks shimmering in the summer heat I can't see how the new building will complement the Georgian cottages...
