    Peter walker.

Only found out this sad news when Lyn contacted me yesterday. All that could be said has been said. I was priviledged to meet and talk with Peter on a few occasions when he travelled up to Birmingham for our meetings. One of the things which I'll allways remember about him was his generosity. I...

After The Apollo it became a Fine Fare Supermarket and I got a Saturday (and a couple of evenings in the week) job there while still at school. I wanted to save some money as my Dad said he's match what I could save so I could buy a car. It was a Dellow for £90 ! Great little motor. Also I...

I think he was from Leicester (I intend researching him as I have details of his death plus his widow) but interestingly this page shows that he bought properties in Bordesley Green...

Mossy, talking about the leaning of the boat. Here are 2 pics, one when we were all being nice and good, the other after some of them (no names) started playing up. Honestly, I thought my time was up!

Someone sent me this link. Don't think I've seen it before, if so apologies. Also I've seen the poster - kevkonk - on somewhere else but can't remember. The side bar on this YouTube link has lots more interesting Birmingham stuff. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6qKuECSrUys&feature=email
