A neighbour tells me that phone land lines are being phased out at the end of the year & replaced by digital. Not wanting to appear thick i didn`t ask him what that that meant? At the moment i`m with Plusnet and anytime calls so will that continue? Us thick old geezers can`t keep up with modern...

My wife has informed me that many years ago we used to buy confit de canard from Tesco. I shall have to check to see if they still sell it.

Never tried duck/goose, always thought they were greasy? Like Pete said, turkey can be dry. Might try a duck/goose this year or fish & chips with a curry sauce.:yum
