Growing up never had a tv. All we had was a crystal radio set & a wind up gramophone. First time i saw a tv was when i was invited round to a mates house to watch Buddy Holly at the Palladium, magical.

Italian 3 button jacket, drainpipe trousers, winkle picker shoes with lime green socks. Who`s a Teddy boy then. !

Top pic Monbretia, I treat as a weed, it spreads everywhere & masses of brown foliage after the flowers die down.

The wind is whipping up clouds of thistle {?] weeds & it`s almost like snow falling. The nearest field is only 100 yards away & the farmer used to sow cereal etc but 2 years ago he sold out to a developer who went bust & consequently the field is now a mass of thistles & nearby gardens are wick...
