Loved both of them Dennis! The painting of the town hall which was a bit ambitious, and the great photo of New Street, with showing Colonnade Passage and the Colonnade Hotel - a hotel of which I have never heard.

Thanks for the information about the brine baths Alan. It must have been 60 years ago when my Dad and sister used to go there. Judy

I wonder if they still have the brine baths at Droitwich? My Dad and sister used to go many years ago, as they both had rheumatism, and it was supposed to help. They said you just floated on top of the salt water. Judy

Thanks for reminding me about the RAF Club on Soho Hill by Park Avenue. I didn't know the number in Soho Hill but I lived only a few minute's walk away and I can remember my Dad talking about it. He was in the Royal Flying Corps in WW1. Another memory from a long time ago ........ Judy

Love that set of photos Dennis. Hope you don't mind if I copy them for myself. I've never seen a photo of St Bartholomews before and it was the church that my gt.grandparents (James Martin and Ellen Bellamy) were married in 1871. Gives me an idea of the location a lot better. Judy

Great photo of the Exchange Building in Stephenson Street Dennis. What a beautiful building that was. Who was the statue of? I can remember a couple of telephone kiosks that stood about there in the 1960's but there was no statue there then. Judy
