mike, There were two Ada Latchford's living at no. 89 Mother and daughter, so Ada had three of her 4 daughters around her. Could that be something to do with the codes?

Mike, Yes Ada Latchford was Thomas' mother - in law. Can you tell me please, what the codes mean? Ada lived at 89 St. Agatha's Road so what does 304 & 305 mean?

I'm here again Suzanne!! Rose and Thomas married in 1922, had a son in 1923 and another son in 1925. As Rose is not listed with Thomas in 1925 would she have been away in hospital? Why wasn't she listed with Thomas? :confused2:

Wow! Suzanne......... again thank you so much. You are a star. The picture is becoming more clear as to where and when this family moved about Birmingham. They were from London originally.

Suzanne, May I ask you to look up Thomas Arthur Guy Herbert who married Rose Martin c1922 (he is a son of Alice). Sorry, I dont know where he would be living in Birmingham but I am certain it was in the area of Town. In 1937 Thomas married Anne Latchford and he was living in Saltley Road.

Alice J Herbert was living at 10 back of Bristol Street in 1925. In 1926 she married Edward F. D. Evans who later died 1929. Were they still living in the same house at the time of their marriage? It is known that Alice died in 1954 in Erdington. We are trying to trace Alice's movements...

In 1911 Horace Herbert and family were living at 29 Bow St. (thanks to Lloyd for that info) In 1925 Horace was residing at 10 back of 26 Bristol Street (he died in April that year) Has anyone a map of this area please? :)
