So, I heard Richard, I was lucky then, my problem was the headlights and driving in the dark. Which was fine until a car came from the opposite direction. Then I was blind, that was scary

We had a 2cv yonks ago, I think thats why auto gearboxes came in:D. the gears and their positions were something special. Ok once you got used to them, but you really had to get used to them:D

Ist car I had, was a 6volt Beetle, rotten as an old apple. 2nd, was a Morris 1000 :) I knew all about speed in those days:innocent:

Can I just expand this thread to other modes of transport, as I've never really been a car driver. (I have owned them though) Van driver, yes.(motorbikes are for a different thread). I remember starting work at the council, in 1967, and being allowed ( at only 15) to drive the J4 vans around...

As Brummies, we are inherently self effacing. Black Sabbath were all that, sure they have money, but they're still are just Brummies. I saw them,(a few times) but once, early on, in their journey, I was getting paid, as a ticket collector at the Town Hall. Gawd it was so loud, and felt so...

We are surrounded by cats, so everything gets washed that comes out of the garden. I'll bet Rosebay will grow almost anywhere, certainly in our garden, especially where you dont want :) but its nice when it flowers

Difficult to tell from a distance Nico, all I can say, is, we have a dumping ground, of allsorts of building materials in the garden,(fenced off), that almost everything grows in, especially foxgloves
