This 1855 map is from the NLS website, doesn't stitch together perfectly but shows: Lower Hospital Street - Eldon Street - Upper Hospital Street - Hospital Street Strange how Upper and Lower were split by Eldon Street.

Can anybody help with this ? I've been looking into Hospital Street when it was named Upper & Lower Hospital Street until it changed to just Hospital street sometime between 1882 and 1888. On the 1855 map there is an 'ELDON' street marked between the Upper and Lower Streets. I can't find any...

Probably the closest I will ever get to an image of No. 7, the original was put through a sewing machine, (you can see the tramlines on it), an action I have regretted in my adult life. Still not perfect but I'm more than happy with it.

Thanks for that, brilliant. I think it's perfectly ok to use on family photos (blurred ones from the 1960s particularly), if I use it elsewhere I will mark as AI enhanced.

Two aerial views, the one dated 1935 has the pub on it but you'd be hard pressed to glean any details of the facade. Perhaps a BIG challenge for AI ??????
