    Coventry Road Hay Mills

    They were demolished 1972/75 ish, If memory serves the houses were becoming pretty run down, not sure who owned them. Numbers 1289 - 1301 were owned by Mitchell's & Butler's Brewery, and they survived until the 1980s ( around 1983 ish)

    I used the Bull Ring Tavern quite a bit, it was run back then (90s) by Tony Murphy and his wife Maureen. Full of characters. Billy's Bar was run by Paul Henry's wife, just around the corner from the old DEP recording studio. Members of UB40 would visit from time to time and play pool. I believe...

    Hi Just joined. Lived at 1299 ( Opposite Kathleen Road ) I can remember the houses between Belmont and 1301 which were demolished long before the road widening, creating the open grassland.
