    blimey ok, so just to confirm the Alfred Henry Foster, who died in French in the war is A child of Henry and Elizabeth Fenton, so the family that went to see his grave not long ago , he isn't even related, only through marriage?

    so Elizabeth smith had 3 children with pechio, 2 with foster I have confirmed, George & rose and non with Barker quite a big difference between John and Luciano... but must be same person. Its crazy because my nan use to call her nanny Barker.. I think everyone assumed that was her maiden name...

    so can I clarify as im a bit lost, Elizabeth who I have listed as Barker, her maiden name is smith. She married three times. The first husband did she have three children with,including Alexandra? she then re married again, and again to a Barker? and you don't know what happened to the first...

    Right perhaps she had Alexandra first out of wedlock, then had all the foster children, then married and settled down with Frank Barker? Ive got them all on the tree but no barker husband. thought that was her maiden name. perhaps she met him when he was a boarder.

    So its the second one, to be honest her name Elizabeth Barker and the photo was sourced by family, not ancestry, I assumed Barker was her maiden name, but maybe she married a barker, split and married a foster, and had Alexandra perca somewhere in-between? she was a bit of a floozy so I heard :)

    Yes not sure if you’ve seen on tree, someone sourced a photo of her for me a while ago, probably the oldest photo I’ve got so far :) is it possible that the census was not filled out? John perca had passed by 1914, could he have not come here at all, but Alexandra did? I’m not sure

    Ahh thanks for sharing that, my aunt will love to see it. I actually have photos of two people on that certificate, from 1842 (around that date) on my tree.
