    I used to love pikelets, warm with butter on! I think the name is particularly a Midland thing, areas like the south east have always called them crumpets.

    I can remember the church quite well, I used to pass it on the number 16 bus to town going to work. Strange but I can't really recollect it actually being demolished!

    I know what you mean but at least the building has survived. I've never been inside but am very familiar with the place as I used to work part-time at the old Ikon Gallery when they were in John Bright Street.
