Just a tiny note, your photo is titled 3 Clarence Road, The first house with white door would be (is) No.2 Clarence Road, then 4, 6, 8, etc even nos on that side

Near by at 169 Holyhead Road, on Facebook someone pointed out that advertising signs had been removed after many years and now reveals a Barbers Tea Ghost sign in excellent condition after being hidden for many years.

In 1967 Halfords was at 1131-33 Warwick Road (Now the Post Office!), 1145 was the Red Lion, and possibly Vale-Onslow you refer to was C & D Autos at 1193-99 Warwick Road ? I also note the Nationwide Building Society at 1137 Warwick Road permanently closed on 16th September 2021!

1955 Kelly's shows the shop at 44 & 45 Horsefair Shows 48-49 as Bull's Head so is Horace Budd's shop shown here? Or is it the other side of the pub? No this was Smallbrook St, Scala Theatre was at 57 & 58 Smallbrook St, Bulls Head at 52 Smallbrook St/48 & 49 Horsefair

This photo taken in the 1960s, shows Jubilee Dry Cleaners at 141 Soho Road, centre right so 131-133 should be around the bus stop, note Elite picture house opposite.

The 1930 Kelly's (would have been taken in 1929) shows your Grandfather at 131-133 Soho Road, as you have said. I have many photos of post cards of this area but most seem to be further up the road near the library. I believe your Grandfather's shop to be almost opposite the Elite picture House.

Can't find them in 1955 Kelly's, but they were still there in 1967/8 at 160/161 Bromsgrove Street, insured some of my motor cycles there, possibly because they were the cheapest. Also noted near there was the Pink Elephant Club at 138 Bromsgrove St., don't remember that one.
