    Hope this is okay to post! Here's dad (Frederick Beesley) on the left and on the back it says the man on the right is 'Lawrence'. This was taken on Aston Brook Street, possibly outside the home of Fred, Joan and Barbara Beesley

    Hi, I just stumbled across your fascinating forum. Joan Beesley was my dad's sister. They grew up in Aston Brook Street, Aston, Birmingham as children of Frederick and Mabel Beesley. My dad (Frederick Clifford Beesley) died in 1974 when I was very young so memories are rather thin on the ground...
