    Got my school rucksack together with my mates from Oswald Baileys in town by St Phillips Church. Also there was an Army and Navy stores in Hay Mills. They were okay but sometimes your books fell out but they were the in thing at the time and you just threw them down when you had finished.

    Went to the Bristol Road Cinema in the mid to late 70s . Was there a pub around there called the something Tree.

    Beautiful church and as you said lovely grounds for your wedding photos. My sisters and some of my mates were married there . Like going back in time with the surrounding grounds and houses opposite.

    Remember Billy Maycock and the grocers shop just a few doors down next to the entry was a Post Office. The road was blocked off if my memory serves me correct in the 1970s .There had been the odd car hitting a wall and was a dangerous bend and a danger to the residents. There was the Trust...
