    Drove one as a works van loved the sliding doors loads of room.

    Did the Evening Mail use them as delivery vans and throw the bundles of Evening Mails and Sports Argus out and on to the next paper shop. Saturdays evenings awaiting the latest edition of the Argus to arrive with the latest scores.

    My uncle had one as his firms van back in the1960s nice and warm as the engine was in the cab.

    Royal Warwickshire Regiment - Lebisey Normandy Memorial

    Went over to the Normady beaches back in the early 1980s from Dunkirk to Omaha then onto Caen and Bayeux. Very emotional and humbling. My uncle was rescued from Dunkirk . We owe them everything for how we live today and the past 78 years.

    Loved Yardley Old Church and listening to the Church bells when someone got married on a Saturday and played on the park all through the seasons with my mates . Football Cricket Tennis and the Puuting green with the red metal flags with the numbers on. Happy times. Please correct me but iam sure...

    Yes remember the singles box also made salt and pepper condements which were trimmed with Formica. Remember the smells the Suds Engineers Blue. Glad to hear you had a career in engineering. A couple of my mates went on to do Toolmaking etc. Glad you are enloying retirement . As you say happy days.
