    Kate Bunce and Myra Bunce artists

    My mother worked at Cheshire home in Sutton in the 1980s, One of the residents was John Bunce who was a talented mouth artist. My son still has one of his paintings. I wonder if he is related.

    Interesting observation is the different coat lengths worn by the women. The older women seem to have the longer style. It looks like a transitional period from the Edwardian to the 1920s.

    A well deserved award to David Olusoga

    I always wanted him to do a House Through Time in Birmingham. He is my favourite historian, making history about the people who lived it. I love the way he uses family history research to bring our ancestors alive with such empathy.
