    Yes I remember, it came once a week West Boulevard and also a mobile library. But my aunt who lived on the boulevard shopped in Harbourne and the city for her sister my mother who lived in Ladywood. I would visit my aunt in Quinton and take the number 10 bus home.

    Yes being an altar boy had its moments, some priests wanted more wine, some more water, getting up at 6 for 7.30 mass was a challenge. Opening up the church, shafts of sunlight, praying Jesus woudln't appear, laying out the vestments, for the mass, for a congregation of 4.
