Yes Di, have a look at in the garden today Dave M as given a utube link to our back garden rink last Jan; & I do still have all my skates even old ones.
Just about to get skating on the lawn again with this cold spell.

Birmingham has a new ice rink at last the old silver blades is now under new owners & is up & ready to go even has the birmingham rockets ice hockey club.plus john curry & wilf o'riley training schools/
well done to the owners to give skating back to brum/
I have some that my late mom had kept but they have long gone. If my memory is not on the blink I seem to remember posting them on the forum but no not were? may be someone could HELP.

LYN do you have any Mail Photos of the ASTON VINIGAR FLOOD from the HP vat burst? our house was next to that vat & our celler had 6 feet of the stuff. had to have it pumped out by the fire engine.

Yes Phil I must say I had a lump in the old gut, so sad as she never new her mom & dad what a way to have your folks end there lives at the hands of German fireing squad after being treated like that by there captors.
Such clear movie shots of the total distruction of most of towns & citys...
Its great to have (SKATING PENSIONER) on board "I have sent you a PM" .hope you have more memories to post as Phil (oldmohawk) & I (the BARON) seem to have run out for the time being,may be we need a trigger to help the OLD GREY CELLS so post any you may have please.
